The city of Almaty is the largest city in Kazakhstan, located in the foothills of the Trans-Ili Alatau. At the foot of the mountain there is a 350-meter television tower and, if measured from sea level, it is the highest tower in the world. Several rivers flow through the city, carrying crystal clear water. The month of February was chosen for the conference, the most favorable season for holding the conference in Almaty.
